About us

At Ways2Well, we believe healthcare should be proactive, personalized, and accessible. Our mission is to help individuals take control of their health by providing advanced, preventive care that go beyond traditional healthcare models. Through innovative diagnostic testing, physician-guided treatment plans, and a focus on whole-body wellness, we empower people to identify potential health concerns early and make informed decisions for a healthier future.

With two clinics — our Longevity Lab in Austin, TX, and our clinic in Houston, TX — we bring our vision of longevity-focused care directly to the communities we serve. Whether in-person or through virtual access, we’re redefining what it means to stay well, because better health starts with better access to knowledge and care.

DANESE REXROAD

MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Danese is a native Texan who graduated nursing school from Lamar University in 2001. She was one of two students selected for the Nurse Apprenticeship program in Emergency/Trauma department. After several years in Emergency Medicine, she transitioned to surgical services specializing in both trauma and plastic/reconstructive surgery.

It was during that time she developed an interest in wellness and disease prevention. She decided to return to school to obtain her MSN and specialize as a Family Nurse Practitioner to be able to care for patients across their life span. She continued her education by obtaining a Functional Medicine certification and continues to pursue the latest in disease prevention, wellness, and health optimization.

She is currently practicing at Ways2Well and feels this is the most ideal approach to health optimization. She sees patients online, so it is convenient and personalized. She feels that each patient is unique in both goals and potential outcomes, so she employs multiple diagnostic tools such as laboratory data and genetic testing to design a treatment pathway tailored to the individual patient.

JULIE GRIECO

MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Julie Grieco is a graduate from the University of Texas program as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing. She graduated as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner in 2014. She has over 30 years nursing experience with a primary focus in Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Julie believes that disease prevention and health optimization should be the primary focus when maintaining health and aging well. Julie began her integrative medicine journey while treating chronic disease in her internal medicine practice. She felt that earlier intervention would have a bigger impact on the health of her patients. Identifying and optimizing her patients' hormones and overall health to eliminate and/or decrease progression of chronic disease will have benefits long-term resulting in increased energy and overall wellness throughout the aging process.

Julie is married and has three children. She lives a very active lifestyle with a focus on hormone balance, nutrition, and exercise. She is looking forward to continually living an active lifestyle and enjoying time with her husband now that their children are adults. She believes that age is just a number. Health and beauty are being the best version of yourself both inside and outside.
